Borobudur

Borobudur is a phenomenal and marvelous Buddhist Stupa and a temple complex with a huge Buddhist structure in the world. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and dates back to the 8th century yet history remains a mystery.

Prambanan

It is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and the second-largest in South East Asia, the architecture is an inspiration of Hinduism with such detailing that of Hindu culture and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The complex dedicates to the trinity- Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The complex spreads out to 17 to 18 kilometers and is located between Central Java and Yogyakarta.

Taman Sari

Taman Sari means a beautiful garden which was built during the 18^th century.

It is basically a water castle divided into four parts-an artificial lakes with pavilions and islands and a bathing complex, a complex of pools and pavilions and a smaller lake.

Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat

The palace completed in the year of 1755-1756 by the founder and chief architect of Yogyakarta Sultanate, Hamengkubuwono I. He got inspired by the old city of Yogyakarta and hence designed the palace that way.

The architecture showcases the Javanese culture and the complex consists of a courtyard, main building, and a secondary building. Many visitors go to the palace to see the palace and the royal artifacts and the culture.

Kota-Gede

It was a forest. It has evolved to become a historic province that contains the remains of Mataram Sultanate and also famous for silver crafting and royal mosque, cemetery, palace, etc.

Sunobudoyo Museum

It is a museum of history, culture, and the library of Javanese. It contains many artifacts and ceramics of the Neolithic era and some bronze sculptures, etc.

Luweng Jomblang Cave

The cave is located in Gunungkidul in the range of Karst Hills.

And you get on the ground and walk into the cave where you would discover the beautiful vegetation and the spectacular view of the rays of the sun entering into the cave from a space.

Kalibiru

It is a protected national forest and is a major attraction among the tourist.

Mount Merapi

Merapi Mountain meaning Mountains of Fire. It is an active volcano that has been active regularly since 1548 and erupted last on May 11, 2018. The mountain is very steep and has a coverage of dense vegetation around.
