Pulau Beras Basah
The island is very beautiful and is very calm. You feel at ease if you spend some time lying on a mat across the vast ocean under the palm trees.
The waters are shallow too so its fun place to be especially for children, with mountains behind, an awesome place for a picnic.
You can grab the necessary items needed on the beaches as this place is underdeveloped, you won’t find anything much around here.
Pulau Dayang Bunting
It is referred to as “Island of Pregnant Maiden” and has a fascinating story behind it.
A man and a princess fell in love at the lake and married and had a son who didn’t live long. They lay their son in the water of the lake. The princess blessed all the women with conceiving abilities. Whoever having difficulty in giving birth, would conceive once baths in the lake.
And the mind-blowing fact is the hills surrounding the lake have a shape of a woman lying on her back.
Fascinating, isn’t it?
Pulau Payar Marine Park
It’s a popular place for snorkeling and diving. The marine life is so incredible with colorful corals. A section of the water is preserved and no fishing is allowed. The place provides many utilities around like Barbeques, restrooms, etc.

Pulau Singa Besar Island
It is named as “Giant Lion Island” but you won’t find any.
It’s a wildlife sanctuary with snakes, monitor lizards, hornbills. Mouse deer and plenty of eagles.
If you are a photographer, you can capture the moment of feeding session where the eagles feed onto the chicken pieces.
Or if you fancy trekking, this is a wonderful place to explore the jungles and beaches!
Pulau Tuba
It’s a place for nature lovers, living among the villagers and experiencing the life of it. The natural medicines and necessary items through the jungle and fishing etc is such a great experience here.
There are various activities you can do like jungle=trekking, cave-exploring, bird-watching, etc.
Loosen up a bit in this calming and peaceful place between the natures.
Pulau Bombon
Just like Pulau Beras Basah, this place is laid back islet but offers serenity. It has two islands- Pulau Bombon Kecil which is m-shaped while Pulau Bombon Besar is c-shaped.
Explore the island by private speedboats or you can sunbathe, swim here.
Have a mini picnic here and you must bring some food of your own because it doesn’t have many stalls or shops around.
